HSI ends up 223 pts at 18,537; TEH up 75 pts at 3,947
[ET Net News Agency, 9 May 2024] The Hang Seng Index closed up 223 points, or 1.2% at
18,537; with market turnover of 123.69b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index closed up
103 points, or 1.6% at 6,560; the Hang Seng TECH Index closed up 75 points, or 1.9% at
3,947.
TENCENT(00700), MEITUAN-W(03690) and BABA-SW(09988) saw largest turnover among HSI
constituents; TENCENT closed up HK$8.4, or 2.3% to HK$369.8, with turnover of HK$5.88b;
MEITUAN-W closed up HK$4.4, or 3.9% to HK$117.9, with turnover of HK$4.47b; BABA-SW closed
up HK$0.65, or 0.9% to HK$76.8, with turnover of HK$3.99b. TENCENT, MEITUAN-W and BABA-SW
saw largest turnover among CEI constituents. TENCENT, MEITUAN-W and BABA-SW saw largest
