We are a fundamentally driven, extensive research and bottom up approach Long Short Equity Hedge fund. We are looking for an Equity Analyst that will focus on the TMT (Software, Semiconductors, internet etc) OR Consumer Discretionary (Retail, Housing, e-commerce, consumer technology etc.) sector. The Analyst will also be an integral part of the investment team participating in idea generation, company, and industry analysis.

• Monitor and analyze companies within the TMT/ Consumer sector
• Evaluate the sectors on a global scale, with a particular emphasis on the United States and Great China for domestic investment strategies
• Conduct in-depth analysis of individual company fundamentals to assess growth potential, financial health, and investment viability with a recommendation to PM
• Apply a long-term investment approach with a goal of generating alpha and maximizing returns for clients
• Develop and maintain / update detailed financial models and comprehensive investment thesis to support investment recommendations
• Monitor and analyze macroeconomic trends, geopolitical events, and other factors that may impact the performance of equities
• Prepare and present investment reports and recommendations to the portfolio manager
• Stay up-to-date with market developments, industry news, and emerging trends in the global equity markets
• Communicate complex investment ideas, insights, and strategies clearly and effectively to the investment team and clients

• Excellent Graduate/ Undergraduate credentials from the Top Universities, CFA certification is plus
• Minimum of 4+ years of work experience in top tier investment banking, private equity, buyside or sell-side equity research. A private Equity background is a plus Experienced in L/S hedge fund is desirable
• Experience in following TMT and Consumer sector or a generalist with strong analytical skills

• You will be managing the daily operations of the Front Office Trading platform, including order management, trade capture and execution, and custody processes on Delta One and equity finance products and work closely with back office on the trade, settlement and clearing for listed products including but not limited to Swaps, Futures, Options, and Derivative products
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business performanc
• Establish Target Operating Model (TOM), designing and leading the implementation of procedures across trading platforms, including emergency procedures
• Streamline operations process and look for deficiencies and improvements. (ie write a prescription manual to put controls in place for entire process)
• Corporate Action booking on Swaps and hedge, managing tradability of entitlement to ensure accurate and timely reflection in risk and booking system
• All client trading account related issues from onboarding to funding and margin issues, fund, and stocks deposit/withdrawal
• Collaborate closely with the technology team to build and improve platform services and procedures and support the integration between internal and vendor systems, ensuring seamless workflows
• Work along with Risk and Finance on operations control and annual fund audit.
• Ad-hoc projects (e.g., investors’ due diligence, broker onboarding)

• University degree in Business, Finance or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in Middle Office/Operations roles in traditional finance with solid exposure to trading operations
• End to end knowledge and expertise in supporting Delta One products; ETFs, Equity Swaps, Futures and Forwards. Equity Finance Trading Desk experience will be highly beneficial
• A deep understanding of life-cycle trade capture and processing, Corporate Actions, Settlements, and Reconciliations
• Client Service experience preferred, preferably within Prime Brokerage
• Proven track record in building and managing Middle Office/Operations teams at an enterprise multi-office scale
• Experience in operating in a licensed and regulated financial service environment; ideally prior exposure to dealing with regulators
• Excellent organizational and leadership ability, highly motivated with a “can do” attitude, ability to multi-task
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access, with VBA knowledge beneficial
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin

• Understand business requirements and prepare user requirements including functions and features required across digital internal and external platforms to address business needs
• Coordinate and initiate digital projects with IT and back office department ensuring development & implementation alignment across business units
• Perform Users Acceptance Test (UAT) on the online securities, futures and options trading platform
• Co-ordinate UAT life-cycle with tester and IT
• Preparation of test plan and test cases
• Responsible for training of our trading system and the development of User manual
• Perform other ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

• Degree holder in finance or business stream
• At least 3 years of working experience in securities and financial industry is preferable
• Experience with wealth management products would be advantage
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
