SMS Sender ID Update

We are pleased to inform you that KGI has joined the SMS Sender Registration Scheme launched by the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) in Hong Kong. Under this scheme, all SMS communications sent via mobile services in Hong Kong will carry a registered sender ID prefixed with “#”.

Effective 22 August 2025, all SMS messages from KGI to clients in Hong Kong will use OFCA-issued registered SMS sender IDs as follows:

• KGI Asia will begin with “#KGI_ASIA”
• KGI Futures will begin with “#KGI_FUT”
