Trump indicated that a U.S. economic recession is not out of the question, leading to a significant drop in U.S. stocks. The Hang Seng Index opened 508 points lower, initially fell 545 points to a low of 23,238 points before rebounding, with the decline narrowing to 60 points at 23,723 points. By midday, it was down 221 points or 0.9%, at 23,562 points; the China Enterprises Index fell 62 points or 0.7%, to 8,662 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 39 points or 0.7%, to 5,845 points. The total market turnover for the half-day was HKD 177.025 billion. Since its listing, Mixue Group (2097) has continued to rise, increasing by another 9% today to reach a new high.
