The Hang Seng Index (HSI) opened 80 points lower at 23,748 points and closed the day at 23,544 points, down 283 points or 1.2%. The Hang Seng Tech Index closed at 5,252 points, down 91 points or 1.7%. The China Enterprises Index (HSCEI) dropped 103 points or 1.2% to 8,557 points. Total market turnover for the day was HKD 198.2 billion. Baidu (9888) saw its stock price fall 4% after announcing its earnings. Internet healthcare stocks showed mixed performance: JD Health (6618) rose 2.5%, while AliHealth (241) fell 6.4%.
