US stocks showed mixed results, while Hong Kong stock market fell in the morning. The HSI opened 129 points lower and then extended its losses, falling 329 points, or 1.3%, to 25,697. The HSCEI fell 128 points, or 1.4%, to 9,174, while the HSTECH dropped 127 points, or 2.1%, to 5,880. Market turnover narrowed to HK$128.1bn. Pop Mart (9992) saw its third-quarter revenue increase by 2.5x yoy, beating consensus. Several brokerages raised their target prices, sending its share price up 4.2%. China Telecom (0728) reported a 5% increase in net profit for the first three quarters, but its share price fell 0.4%. Gold prices experienced their largest single-day drop in over a decade, with Zijin Gold International (2259) falling 2.2%.
