Hong Kong stock market rose before falling today. The HSI opened 101 points higher before falling, closing down 323 points, or 1.3%, at 25,201. The HSCEI fell 128 points, or 1.4%, to 9,020. The HSTECH fell 84 points, or 1.5%, to 5,697. Total market turnover for the day was HK$371.4bn. Meituan (3690), which announced its results after the market closed, saw its share price fall 3.1%. Among consumer stocks, Nongfu Spring (9633) saw its half-year net profit rise 22%, sending its share price up 7.1%. Mixue (2097) saw its half-year net profit rise 43%, but it did not declare a dividend. The lock-up period for cornerstone investors expires next Wednesday (the 3rd). Its share price fell 5.3%.
