The Hong Kong stock market opened with mixed performance across multiple sectors, trading within a narrow range. The Hang Seng Index closed at 23,914 points at midday, up 22 points or 0.09%; the China Enterprises Index stood at 8,622 points, up 25 points or 0.29%; while the Hang Seng Tech Index closed at 5,209 points, down 0.44% or 23 points. The market turnover for the first half of the day was HKD 125.7 billion. Boyaa (434) surged 16%, following gains in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency-related stocks. Meanwhile, Apple concept stocks saw Sunny Optical Technology (2382) rise 6.26%. On the other hand, the local property sector saw Wharf Real Estate Investment Company (1997) fall 3.83%.
