The Hong Kong stock market opened higher in the morning session and then experienced fluctuations. The Hang Seng Index opened up 100 points, at one point rising 182 points to 25,287, and closed the half-day session up 80 points or 0.32% at 25,184. The China Enterprises Index rose 47 points or 0.52% to 9,022, while the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 88 points or 1.61% to 5,586. The total turnover for the half-day session was HKD 149.7 billion. There are reports that H20 will cease production. Huahong Semiconductor (1347) rose 11.74%, SMIC (981) gained 6.29%, and XPeng (9868) surged 10.2% after Chairman He Xiaopeng increased his shareholding. On the downside, Bilibili (9626) dropped 4.88% due to earnings falling short of expectations.
