The Hang Seng Index closed at 26,766 points, down 156 points or 0.6%. The Hang Seng Tech Index closed at 5,888 points, down 45 points or 0.8%. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 61 points or 0.6% to 9,477 points. Meituan (3690) fell 1.4% to HK$100.4. Tencent (700) shares fell 1.1% to HK$649.5 ahead of its earnings release. Samsonite (1910) performed relatively well, with its share price surging 18% after reporting an 11% increase in third-quarter profit.
