Conant Optical announced its unaudited interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. Revenue was approximately RMB 1.084 billion, an increase of 11.1% compared to the same period last year; gross profit was about RMB 444 million, up 16.2%. Net profit rose significantly to approximately RMB 273 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 30.7%; earnings per share reached RMB 0.59, an increase of 18%. Looking ahead, Conant will continue to strengthen research and development to advance product innovation and enhance production capacity both domestically and internationally, particularly through new customized lens production lines in Japan and Thailand. The company plans to develop XR (augmented reality and artificial intelligence glasses) business and actively collaborate with domestic and foreign technology firms to deepen the research and development of smart eyewear lenses and visual solutions. The funds raised will be invested in the production and R&D of related XR products to support the company’s future growth.
China core CPI continue to rise
According to the National Bureau of Statistics of China announced July inflation data remained flat year-on-year, rising 0.4% month-on-month, with food prices declining, falling 1.6% year-on-year and 0.2% month-on-month. Core inflation, excluding food and energy, rose 0.8% year-on-year, 0.1 percentage points higher than last month, reaching the highest level in the past 17 months, and rose 0.4% month-on-month. The authorities indicated that the continued effect of summer traveling and expansion of domestic demand policies promoted positive changes in consumption prices. The industrial producer price index continued to show weakness, falling 3.6% year-on-year and 0.2% month-on-month.
Hong Kong Stock Connect on Friday recorded a net inflow of HKD 6.2 billion, with Alibaba (9988) having the highest net inflow of HKD 730 million, followed by Tracker Fund of Hong Kong (2800); Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (981) recorded the largest net outflow of HKD 420 million, followed by Hua Hong Semiconductor (1347).
