Majority of US senators supported President Trump's military action against Iran
The US Senate rejected a resolution aimed at limiting President Trump's war against Iran. On March 4th, local time, majority of US senators supported President Trump's military action against Iran, voting 47-52 to reject a resolution aimed at halting airstrikes and requiring any hostile actions against Iran to be authorized by Congress. The Secretary of Defense predicted the conflict could last eight weeks or longer.
Hong Kong Stock Connect saw a net outflow of HK$466 million on Wednesday. Southern Hang Seng Technology (03033) saw the largest inflow at HK$944 million, followed by Tencent Holdings (00700). Alibaba-W (09988) recorded the largest net outflow at HK$3.459 billion, followed by CNOOC (00883).
