{Southbound Funds}Net Inflow HK$1.28b
[ET Net News Agency, 8 September 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 2 points higher today
at 25,652. It reached a high of 25,664, up 14 points, and a low of 25,362, down 287
points. The Hang Seng Index closed down 237 points, or 0.9%, at 25,413.
Southbound funds recorded a net inflow of HK$1.28b for the full day, compared to a net
outflow of HK$10.02b on the previous session. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were
XIAOMI-W(01810), ZJ INNOLIGHT(03308), CHINA LIFE(02628) and BABA-W(09988) in that order.
The top stocks by net selling were KB LAMINATES(01888), HUA HONG GRACE(01347),
MINIMAX-W(00100), YOFC(06869) and GIGADEVICE(03986) in that order.
Mainboard turnover decreased by 24.3% to nearly HK$209.67b. Among this, Stock Connect
turnover exceeded HK$91.4b, accounting for 43.6% of the total turnover.
XIAOMI-W dropped 3.3% to HK$27.5, with a net Southbound buy of HK$1.38b. ZJ INNOLIGHT
rose 19.6% to HK$1203, with a net Southbound buy of HK$367m. CHINA LIFE dropped 1.1% to
HK$30.56, with a net Southbound buy of HK$230m.
KB LAMINATES rose 7.8% to HK$47.68, with a net Southbound sell of HK$651m. HUA HONG
GRACE rose 4.9% to HK$115.1, with a net Southbound sell of HK$583m. MINIMAX-W dropped 2.9%
to HK$350.8, with a net Southbound sell of HK$380m.
